Delivery & Returns

Border Guns & Tackle would like your shopping experience with us to be as easy as possible, so too our returns policy. Goods that you wish to return or exchange, must be sent back to us within 14 days of receipt. Simply return your goods to us at the address shown, via a secure Post Office service. Royal Mail Tracked is recommended. Upon receipt of your goods we will action the request accordingly, be it a replacement or refund. The refund will be for goods returned only, not the postage originally incurred.

Any goods returned MUST be in re-saleable condition, that is to say:-

All items must be in their original packaging/box with all tags still attached. No item/garment will be accepted that has been used, worn or damaged. Any exchange or refund will be actioned within 14 days or thereto (which allows for restocking of replacement if applicable) and a credit will be shown on your bank statement approximately 3 or 4 working days thereafter. Although we issue a refund straight away it can take some time to show on your account. This will show as being from Borders Gunroom.

In the case of faulty or damaged goods being received, please contact us immediately on 01835 822844 within 14 days of receipt or email us on sales@bordergunsandtackle.co.uk

In the event of goods that have been used, we DO NOT accept wet, dirty or badly soiled items. These will be returned to you, untouched and at your expense.

We may contact you prior to despatch, regarding extra charges, in the event of a parcel being sent to an unusual postcode or the item sent being over weight or over sized. A slightly longer delivery time may also be incurred.

Leave Safe Item(s) – we are happy for our customers to request ‘leave safe’ instructions. This allows you to leave packages with neighbours or at a specified location without the need for a signature. However, please be aware, this is done solely at your own risk. Any instructions regarding delivery must be entered at the time of placing an order.

Please note that in the case of firearms, Border Guns & Tackle only deliver to a REGISTERED FIREARMS DEALER and not to the individual. You must supply us with the address of your local dealer at the checkout stage. Failure to do so will delay the processing of your order. We do not deliver cartridges and/or ammunition. We use specialist carriers for all shotgun and firearms delivery.

Orders placed before 2.30pm GMT will be despatched on the same day. UK mainland customers can expect their purchases to arrive in 1-2 working days (some deliveries will require a signature, if delivered to an address different to the billing address ie; a neighbour). No package can be left without a signature.
Next day delivery placed on a Friday will be delivered on the following Monday. Bank holidays may delay a delivery and therefore delivery times may vary.
